Tuya Smart Wifi Human Presence and Brightness Detector Wall Mount

The Tuya Human Presence Sensor is an incredibly capable and versatile presence sensing device.

A radical novelty among the sensors dedicated to the detection of human presence in the environments where our home automation is set.

Thanks to mmWave technology, it is able to communicate, via the Tuya Smart or Smart Life APP, the presence of one or more

human beings in the monitored room, while it happens, for the duration it happens.

Intelligent human presence sensor

It can detect the presence or absence of people in the area, using mmWave radar detection.

This device can also detect a static person , such as someone sleeping.

Light Intensity and Smart Scenes

Monitor light intensity in Tuya Smart APP , enable its function as scene linkage with others

smart devices , especially the lights in your home turn ON/OFF automatically as the brightness changes.

You can intelligently connect the sensor to other smart home devices for home automation .

mmWave technology

It is a continuous wave radar. Instead of using time to measure distance (known as TOF), technology

mmWave emits a weak radar signal with a frequency that continuously increases to create a signal sweep.

It works on 5.8GHz radar frequencies , has a detection range of up to 9 meters and covers an angle of 100° on both axes.

Discover the functions in the APP

Download the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app and connect the new presence detector.

Of course it shows the detected presence , but it also shows the distance to the target and the light values in lux.

In the settings menu you can adjust the sensitivity , the minimum and maximum distance for detection ,

as well as delays until the presence or absence is reported. Such adjustments allow you

to freely modify the behavior of presence detection according to your needs or preferences.

Pairing and Installation

To pair this device, simply press and hold the pairing button for about 5 seconds

until pairing mode is indicated by the small flashing LED.

What's inside?

The Tuya human presence sensor is supplied in a cardboard box containing the sensor,

the manual, the USB-A to Micro-USB cable, and some silicone stickers for installation. A 5V1A adapter is included.

Detection range settings from 0.3m to 9.5m
Time duration settings from 0s to 1500s I
latency setting from 2 to 10 seconds to avoid repeated triggers and reduce false alarms.
