Internal temperature sensor for overheating protection.
If the PCB temperature exceeds a danger level for any reason, the device shuts down.
The relay will immediately deactivate the circuit if it detects a consumption higher than the defined overload setting.
Energy saving
Shelly 2.5 is one of the main attractions of the Shelly house.
Unique for its small size that allows it to be easily installed in the classic 503 boxes, it is basically used for the home automation of electric shutters.
The Shelly 2.5 is powered by a normal household current, 220 V, the usual voltage of the roller shutter motors, as can be seen from the diagram below.
The Shelly 2.5 is distinguished from the other devices by the "Roller Shutter" function that allows you to have control over the rolling shutters and it is also possible to create scenarios, possible functions that give you the possibility to set total or partial closing and opening, based on the your daily needs.
