Internal temperature sensor for overheating protection.

If the PCB temperature exceeds a danger level for any reason, the device shuts down.

Energy saving

Shelly 2.5 is one of the main attractions of the Shelly house.

Unique for its small size that allows it to be easily installed in the classic 503 boxes, it is basically used for the home automation of electric shutters.

The Shelly 2.5 is powered by a normal household current, 220 V, the usual voltage of the roller shutter motors, as can be seen from the diagram below.
